This Privacy Statement describes how our company collects, processes and stores users' personal data.

It also provides information on the rights of data subjects, such as the right to inspect, correct or delete their own data.

We need your email address in order to add you as a newsletter subscriber.

We do not use your contact information for anything other than sending you a newsletter, and we will never pass on your contact information.

We only send the newsletter when the reader has either verbally stated that he/she wants to become a reader of the newsletter or has subscribed to the newsletter through the subscription form on this website and before that clicked on the “I want to receive newsletters” box.

We use Mailchimp to send the newsletter.

When you enter your email into the newsletter signup form, it is stored on Webflow's server located in the United States and on the Mailchimp newsletter server.

Mailchimp or Webflow do not pass this information on, and employees of these companies, as a rule, do not have access to it.

8. Registry protection

Data is transferred over an SSL-secured connection.

Electronic data is protected by Two-step authentication with usernames and passwords.

Access to the data shall be granted only to persons employed by the controller who need the data for the purposes of their duties.

9. Automated decision making

Automated individual decisions (Article 22 of the EU Data Protection Regulation) are not taken.

10. Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the right to check what information about him/her has been deposited in the personal data register. We hope that the inspection request will be sent to the person in charge of the register by e-mail: emma@clayhem.fi.

The right of inspection is free of charge, carried out no more than once a year.

The data subject has the right to request the correction or deletion of incorrect or outdated data or the transfer of data from one system to another. They also have the right to restrict or object to the processing of their data in accordance with Articles 18 and 21 of the EU Data Protection Regulation.

The data subject has the right to withdraw his or her consent to the processing of the data or to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority regarding the processing of his or her personal data.
