Helsinki-based Dorit has had enough of her job at a TV production company. She leaves the stale workplace behind, taking only a genuine Queen Elizabeth jubilee mug with her. But the thrill of freedom quickly fades when her father, whose memory is failing, is rushed to the emergency room.

A new anchor in her life emerges through a pottery-themed TV show. Dorit dives headfirst into ceramics — and falls hard. Soon, she finds herself dreaming of starting her own pottery studio. But what happens to her marriage when a youthful love reappears in the stairwell, and her husband has turned into a lycra-clad, low-fat version of himself?
